To finish off my look at the Bible and Chinese  hieroglyphics, I’m looking at a last few symbols. You can find my previous posts on this subject in part 1 and part 2

In reference to the Tower of Babel, let’s first look at man’s desire to rebel against God’s wishes

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth

Gen 11:4

Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth

Gen 11:9

Finally,  our salvation through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus on the cross of Calvary is also represented

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot

1 Pet 1:18-19

For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins

Heb 5:1
